Information We Need for an Accurate Quote
You do not need to know everything about the table. Send what you know, and photos can often answer the rest.

Helpful inspection clues: On many tables, support cross-beams positioned beneath the slate seams are a clue that the table uses three-piece slate. You can also gently reach into a pocket opening and feel underneath the cloth edge—without pulling on it—to see whether the cloth is glued directly to the slate or stapled to wood backing. These details and underside photos help us identify the table’s construction and installation method, although they are not absolute proof by themselves.

A low-priced or free table can still require professional disassembly, transportation, reassembly, new cloth, cushion rubber, pockets or slate repairs. Evaluate the complete installed cost.
Get Photos Before You Commit
Ask the seller for full-table photos, the manufacturer name, rail and pocket condition, underside/frame photos if possible, and any known damage. This can reveal issues before you arrange transportation.
Planning Around Flooring
Carpet and padding can compress, floating floors can move, and rubber or interlocking flooring can settle under concentrated table-leg weight. The supporting floor can affect level after installation, so tell us about unusual flooring before service.
