At Pool Table Masters, I believe every pool table deserves to play as beautifully as it looks.
My name is Kirk, and pool has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, we
had two pool tables in our home, and some of my earliest memories are of playing with family and
helping my dad recover one of those tables. Looking back, I didn’t realize it then, but that
experience planted the seed for what would eventually become my career.
Throughout the 1990s I played competitively in both the APA and BCA leagues. Like many people,
life eventually took me in a different direction. Marriage, raising my daughter, and the
responsibilities of adulthood meant I stepped away from the game around 1998.
Life has had its share of challenges since then. After losing my second wife in 2020, I found myself
needing to rebuild from the ground up. I spent the next year focused on recovery and creating a
new foundation for my life. That experience taught me perseverance, patience, and
gratitude—qualities that continue to shape both my life and my business today.
When I was ready to start over, I returned to construction because it was what I knew. One day my
boss mentioned he had an old pool table he’d always wanted to restore. I told him, “I think I can
figure it out.” Together we brought that table back to life.
Friends who saw the finished table wanted theirs done. Then their friends called. One project turned
into another, and before long I realized I had discovered something special—a niche where I could
combine craftsmanship, problem-solving, and a lifelong passion for the game of pool.
That was a few years ago, and Pool Table Masters has continued to grow ever since.
Today I specialize in professional pool table refelting, leveling, repairs, assembly, disassembly, moving, custom craftsmanship to reduce pocket sizes, and restoration throughout the Pacific Northwest. Whether I’m installing premium Simonis or
Championship cloth, leveling slate to tournament standards, or bringing new life to a family
heirloom, I approach every table with the same attention to detail and respect I’d want for my own.
What sets Pool Table Masters apart is simple: I genuinely care about doing the job right. I don’t
believe in shortcuts. I play in lots of leagues and tournaments, so I know how a table should play. I believe in honest communication, quality workmanship, and treating every
customer’s home and table with the utmost respect.
Every pool table has a story. Some have been in families for generations. Others are the
centerpiece of a game room where new memories will be made. It’s a privilege to be trusted with
those tables, and I take that responsibility seriously.
